PremierDigitalKiosk (“the App”) is developed and maintained by Premier Digital Signs. The App is designed for commercial digital signage and is used to display content associated with a Premier Digital Signs account.
Information We Collect
The App may collect or use limited technical and configuration information, including:
- Device Key or Display ID configured by an administrator
- Location Key, when enabled
- Application version
- Device model and Android version
- Network connectivity status
- Display status information used for remote monitoring
- Error and diagnostic information used to improve reliability
Internet Access
The App requires an Internet connection to:
- Download and display digital signage content
- Check for software updates when requested
- Retrieve display configuration information
- Receive remote restart commands
- Report display or network status when those features are enabled
Software Updates
The App may check for available software updates hosted by Premier Digital Signs. Updates may be initiated manually by an administrator or through an approved deployment configuration.
Permissions Used
Depending on the Android version and device configuration, the App may use permissions for:
- Internet access
- Network-state monitoring
- Starting automatically after device boot
- Keeping the screen awake
- Running a foreground kiosk or monitoring service
- Installing application updates when allowed by the device administrator
- Opening Wi-Fi or system settings to help restore connectivity
These permissions are used only to operate and maintain the digital signage system.
Data Storage
The App may store configuration information locally on the device, such as:
- Device Key
- Location Key
- Display rotation and kiosk preferences
- Previously loaded display URL
- Application settings
This information is used to operate the assigned display and is not sold to third parties.
Third-Party Services
The App primarily communicates with Premier Digital Signs servers to retrieve content, configuration data, software updates, and device-management commands.
The App does not include advertising SDKs or third-party advertising trackers.
Web Content
PremierDigitalKiosk functions as a managed digital signage application. Content displayed within the App is provided and managed by the organization that owns or controls the device through the Premier Digital Signs platform.
Premier Digital Signs does not assume responsibility for customer-provided content displayed through the App.
Security
Reasonable technical and administrative measures are used to protect communications and configuration information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
PremierDigitalKiosk is intended for commercial and organizational digital signage installations. It is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the Premier Digital Signs website with an updated effective date.
